The Yamaha MT-OS was a Air Cooled, Four Stroke, V-Twin, SOHC, 4 Valves Per Cylinder Concept motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2007. Max torque was 110.64 ft/lbs (150.0 Nm) @ 3750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 89.98 HP (67.1 KW) @ 4750 RPM.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1670.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x320 Mm Discs 4 Piston Calipers in the front and a Single 267 Mm Disc 1 Piston Caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Inverted Telescopic Fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm With Fully Adjustable Single Shock. The MT-OS was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 60.0 inches (1524 mm) long.

After the 01 and 03 have been released, the MT adventure continues with the new MT-0S Sports concept bike, which features a new half cowling for wind protection, a larger tank, a slimline mono tail, new front and rear rims, a wide rear tire and new swingarm.
