The Yamaha Maxam was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Yamaha between 2012 and 2015. Max torque was 16.23 ft/lbs (22.0 Nm) @ 2200 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 19.58 HP (14.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 66.0mm bore x 73.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a automatic transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-13 front tire and a 130/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a unit swing. The Maxam was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 443.13 pounds (201.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 64.96 inches (1650 mm) long.
