The Yamaha R1-Z was a Parallel twin cylinder, two stroke, liquid-cooled Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1991 and 1993. Claimed horsepower was 45.06 HP (33.6 KW) @ 9500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs in the front and a Single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm. The wheelbase was 54.29 inches (1379 mm) long.

This Yamaha R1-Z 250 is packed full of punch running it's liquid cooled, two stroke, parallel twin cylinder engine. In 1993 model with a small 11,000 miles on the clock, this classic two-stroke is in great engine. Twin front disc with disc also fitted to the rear and K2 Tec exhaust system.
