The Yamaha RD 350 F2 was a Parallel twin cylinder, two-stroke, liquid-cooled Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1987. Max torque was 36.88 ft/lbs (50.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 63.03 HP (47.0 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

A 63.5mm bore x 63.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 347.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-18 51H front tire and a 110/80-18 58H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 260 mm in the front and a Single disc 260 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Monocross. The wheelbase was 54.49 inches (1384 mm) long.

The current RD 350F2 engine is liquid-cooled, with coolant temperature controlled by a thermostat. For over two decades, the development of our two-stroke sports bikes has been directly linked to our road racing.
