The Yamaha T-Max500 was a Liquid Cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, Forward-inclined Parallel twin scooter produced by Yamaha in 2004. Claimed horsepower was 43.45 HP (32.4 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The bike has a CVT transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 M/C (55H) front tire and a 160/60-15M/C (67H) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic Dual Discs, Ø 267 Mm in the front and a Hydraulic Single Disc, Ø 267 Mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm. The wheelbase was 62.01 inches (1575 mm) long.

The T-Max 500 has a sturdy chassis, bit like a cut down motorcycle really, and the beefy 38mm forks, plus monoshock rear end help keep it handling on the sporty side, until the sheer weight of the thing starts some misbehaviour if you push it.
