The Yamaha TMAX 500 LIMITED EDITION was a Four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, liquid cooled scooter produced by Yamaha in 2011. Max torque was 39.09 ft/lbs (53.0 Nm) @ 5200 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 45.06 HP (33.6 KW) @ 6750 RPM.

A 66.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 499.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Fully automatic CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-discs.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 160/60-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 267 mm in the front and a Single disc 267 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, single shock. The TMAX 500 LIMITED EDITION was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 62.2 inches (1580 mm) long.
2011 Yamaha TMAX 500 LIMITED EDITION[edit | edit source]
To celebrate 10 years of the Yamaha T-Max 500 maxi-scooter, the firm is released a limited-edition white version. Technically the scooter is the same 500cc parallel twin as the 2008/2009 model, but comes in white with anodised aluminum detailing and the wheels are titanium-color with polished rims.
