The bike has a V-Belt automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple-disc automatic centrifugal.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 160/60-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic disc 267mm in the front and a Single hydraulic disc 282mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm upside-down telescopic forks, 4.7-in travel while the rear was equipped with a Mid-ship, horizontal-positioned rear shock, 4.6-in travel. The TMAX 530 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 62.2 inches (1580 mm) long.
