The Yamaha TX 650 was a Air Cooled, Four Stroke, Parallel Twin Cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1973. Max torque was 38.36 ft/lbs (52.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 50.02 HP (37.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.50-19 front tire and a 4.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x297mm Discs in the front and a Drum in the rear. The TX 650 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.

TX 500's bigger brother, the TX 650 had an air cooled, four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, which could develop 50HP at 7500rpm.
