The Yamaha Venture was a Liquid-cooled, DOHC, V-4 Touring motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2000.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1294.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5 speed, manual, wide ratio, overdrive 4th and 5th transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 150/80-16 front tire and a 150/90-15M/C rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 298mm discs in the front and a Single 320mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Air-assist telescopic fork, 5.6 in. travel while the rear was equipped with a Air-assist single shock, link-type, 4.1 in. travel. The Venture was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 67.09 inches (1704 mm) long.

The Venture is the ultimate Yamaha retro-styled cruiser. Built on the acclaimed 1294cc V4 platform, this bike rolls down the road with 98 horsepower and seemingly infinite torque, making both uphill rides in the mountains and fast highway runs as effortless and rewarding as it gets. With generous storage in the sidecases and the trunk, and providing its occupants with plush seating, the 1999 Venture also adds AM/FM radio, a cassette player with optional CD upgrade, intercom and CB, cruise controls and lower wind protectors for a smooth comfy ride.
