The Yamaha XTZ250 Lander was a single cylinder, four-stroke Trail motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2007. It could reach a top speed of 84 mph (135 km/h). Max torque was 1.55 ft/lbs (2.1 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 20.52 HP (15.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a oil & air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 74.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/90-21m/c 48s front tire and a 120/80-18m/c 62s rear tire. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a monoshock w/ links. The XTZ250 Lander was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 286.6 pounds (130.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.72 inches (1390 mm) long.
