The Yamaha YBR250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2007 and 2011. Max torque was 15.27 ft/lbs (20.7 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 20.65 HP (15.4 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

This utilitarian Japanese motorcycle will satisfy to all those who they will be looking for a motorcycle with more potency than a simple 125 cc and that allow them to maneuver easily through the city and highway. If besides of a reliable vehicle is pretty, what else can we ask for? perhaps a cheaper motorcycle ?
Yamaha YBR250 is powered by a fuel-injected, an air cooled 250cc four-stroke engine. This engine delivers power of 21.05 HP (15.4 kW) and torque of 20.70 Nm (2.1kgf-m or 15.3 ft.lbs) @ 2100 RPM. The five-speed transmission engine is perfect with TCI (digital) ignition. The power and torque are good combination in 250cc bike and also enough for commuter. The other good point for commuter is Yamaha YBR250 has the biggest fuel capacity in its class, 19 litre.
2009 Yamaha YBR250 rides on 17-inch allow wheels to accommodate every rider. Braking features a big 282mm front disc brake. Combined with drum brake at the rear, it is enough to give stopping power for the naked. Monocross rear suspension, LCD dashpanel, multi-reflector headlight, electric starter and double cradle steel frame are the other features.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 74.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple-disc coil spring, wet.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/80-m17 front tire and a 130/70-m17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a bottom link swingarm. The YBR250 was fitted with a 5.07 Gallon (19.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 304.24 pounds (138.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 53.54 inches (1360 mm) long.
