The Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 2.0 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2008 and 2018. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Max torque was 11.06 ft/lbs (15.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.69 HP (11.7 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 58.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 149.8 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiple-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/80-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic while the rear was equipped with a aluminum swingarm, linked type monocross.. The YZF-R15 Version 2.0 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 52.95 inches (1345 mm) long.
