The Yamaha YZF-R1 10th Anniversary was a Liquid Cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, Forward Inclined, Parallel 4-cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2008. Max torque was 77.45 ft/lbs (105.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 188.95 HP (140.9 KW) @ 12500 RPM.

A 73.9mm bore x 73.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet, Multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 MC front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 MC rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x310mm Discs 6 Piston Calipers in the front and a Single 220mm Disc 1 Piston Caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Inverted Telescopic Fork while the rear was equipped with a Single Shock With Piggyback Reservoir. The wheelbase was 55.71 inches (1415 mm) long.
