The livery of the Canadian Edition 2008 MY YZF-R1 is consistent with that of the similar version R6. The bike's bodywork is a combination of sparkling white and matte black panels, beautifully adorned with fiery red accents. The red elements also include both the rider and the pillion seats, the front fender and the rim stripes on the black cast wheels.

Performance specs have not been affected, as the 2008 MY R1 CE boasts the same tech revisions as the international version. With plenty of technologies and components directly derived from Yamaha's racing programs, the R1 provides an exhilarating on-track experience while being a force to be reckoned with on the street as well. Not intended for novice or inexperienced users.
