The Zündapp DB255 Elastic 250 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Zündapp between 1953 and 1955. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 12.74 HP (9.5 KW) @ 5200 RPM.

A 67.0mm bore x 70.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 246.0 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 3.25-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equipped with a two schock. The DB255 Elastic 250 was fitted with a 3.88 Gallon (14.70 Liters) fuel tank.
