handle bar morrors for RT

I saw an RT that had mirrors on the handle bar like the 1100 has. Wonder how they were mounted? Anyone know?

I have bar end mirrors on my 74 airhead. They mount inside the bar and have a fitting that flares out on the inside as you tighten them up.

I saw those on ebay. My r1150 has the throttle meister cruise control in he bar end so those mirrors won't work. found on another forum & then on ebay mirrore with 8mm thread from honda scooter that supposedly fit the bmw. will know when I get my ride in about 2 weeks.
