Since they are already have everything to make motorcycles, why doesn't Victory/Polaris consider getting into the American sportbike scene and maybe can do more than Buell has.Americans want sportbikes just as much as chromed out cruisers, so I don't know why these American motorcycle companies don't offer anything except cruisers.

do ya think there is room in the marketplace for another sportbike? even the Harley clones are going out of business.when was the last time you saw a Titan? The economy isnt very good and lets face it the Japanese companies are VERY VERY good at making fast, reliable machines. However with the price of gas going through the roof look for a lot more scooters to on the road.

Japan has had 30 years to engineer their water cooled in-line 4's and V 4's into fire breathing rocket engines.I would be happy to see Victory give it a better go than Buell has, but I think the money involved to build something real is too steep to do from scratch.
