83 V65 newbie questions clutch, handlebars, idiot lights

I am new to this forum, so hi all and thx in advance.

I just bought a 83'V65 magna (5 days ago) it's in decent shape, but i don't like the handlebars, not to mention there just a little tweaked, but my arms feel to close together, i also own a 82 v45 magna, so i swapped bars, this is only temporary though since i am selling the v45. so my question is where do i find a fairly cheap set of bars for the v65 that are more like the v45, i did a little research and saw someone recommended kz100 bars? any thoughts on what would be best?and where to find em?

I fell in love with this bike the minute i saw it, so i didn't test drive it good enuf, i only went a few blocks and back, the front wheel came off the ground in 2nd, and the seller said, "wow it usually just spins", well i took for a longer ride today and it doesn't spin, the clutch slips, so i'm a little disappointed about that. Is there a way to adjust these hydrualic clutches, or do i need new clutch plates??

The carbs were backfiring(or the engine was) I'll try new plugs and see if it helps, those carbs look like a bitch to take off and clean, sounds like a rainy day project, or a winter teardown.

this bike has a digital temp. gauge, which worked once (or at least i thought i saw it, lol maybe not) any ideas on what could cause this not to display properly??
Also the idiot lights are no longer marked, so, being an idiot i don't know whats what, the high beam and nuetral are obvious, but if someone could clue me in to the rest of em that would be great...

ok, got bars off a nighthawk that work good, 26 inch bars though, would like 28 or 29 inch.. fixed the temp gauge, not sure what i did, but after testing it(which it failed??. musta tested it wrong?)it now works. haven't changed plugs yet, it only backfires when cold, but i'll change em next week..

still not sure what the idiot lights r. i think from left to right they r tail light, low fuel, oil pressure, high beam and nuetral, but not sure, if anyone knows please respond.
