Default Just bought the exact same bike

I actually just bought the exact same bike, 72 CB350F, but it has been sitting for who-knows-how-long and is NOT running. I have very little knowledge so any advice would be appreciated. Owner was a trusted friend who had been saving the bike for himself, but he knew I wanted it, so I took his word for it that it should be easy enough to get running and bought it from him. He suggested new carbs - but should I clean/rebuild the old ones or put new ones in? Anything else common that I should try?
