Aprilia rs125 2007 riding in winter!?

In winter(about 0-5 degrees) how should I warm the engine the best way?Let it works on Neutral until temperature is normal (about 8-9min) or let it for about 2-3min and ride it slow? Is it good for engine to ride it on winter? What should I take care of? And after engine if warm, after little harder riding, temperature fallsPp

i have an aprilia climber that i ride all year, and have ridden in the single digits- i start it in the garage, so it will start easier outside- sometimes i have to wrap tin foil around the carb and create a ductfrom it to the nearest part of the exhaust pipe to keep it from icing up.
