Default Is the Triumph Scrambler a good first motorcycle?

I have not been on a motorcycle in many, many years. I am not into speed, I want to cruise. I would take a bike safety course before riding. I am 6'4"and 200 lbs., so the Scrambler may fit me pretty good with the seat height at 32.5". Not really interested in a sport bike at all. Thanks in advance to all who answer.

I think that would be a great choice. You may grow beyond this bike however. My advice is to buy a nice used one. Then you can resell for almost the same amount a year or 2 later if you choose.
