Am I asking too much for my Motorcycle?

I have been trying to sell my motorcycle now for 6 months.It's a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 with 5800 original milesIm asking $2,700.00 offers or Trades.Am I asking too much for the Bike,damn I have $3,500.00 into it.The best offer I have been given was $1,800.00Should I have taken that..?here is a pichttp://www.photocarshowplus.com/phy/clim/36382/Picture-019.jpg

I just happened across this. Man, that is not too high of a price. I'd keep it before I'd sell it that cheap!!!
