How can I get insurance for a moped/motorcycle when I'm 16?
I need insuarance for my moped.I am 16, I only have my motorcycle permit, and my grandma (guardian) does not want to be the primary driver because she does not want to be liable, is there anyway she can be the primary and if I do get in a crash I am liable?Or can I just be insured? I only have a motorcycle and drivers permit!?

When I was 16 I just went down to my local agent and bought a policy.
Wanted to know what I had and my name age and address - that was it. He took my money ($56 for a year as I recall) and gave me a receipt. A couple of weeks later the policy arrived in the mail. Off I rode on my Honda CB-350.
