Hello!

I was doing a lot of quotes for my 84 Magna and Riders Plus (Echelon General Insurance) came out a lot cheaper than anyone else.

I am Female, 26, no riding experience and it cost me $835 a year for liability only.
Kingsway quoted me at $1260
TD quoted me at $1060
Kanetix quoted me at $1500
Insurance Hotline quoted me at $1300

I thought this may be useful to someone shopping for insurance!

Might I also suggest Kaspard, Duffy and Statefarm?

(you said yes)

Okay, try them, too. :)

Just curious - how many cc's is your Magna?

there good for touring bike but they wont cover supersports. They gave me good rates on Virago but Duffy will get you a better price for the second year and you wont need to take a motorcycle course. A driver course is mandatory with RP.

State Farm's also good. I was getting quotes on almost all the 600 series sport bikes for $3000. Mind you I don't have much experience though.
I called a buddy of mine at State Farm and I'm paying about $50 bucks a month with full coverage....

.....say what????? I was insured through statefarm on my 600cc Katana and paid something like 3400 for the year. Mind you I only had my M2 and was 19. But 50$ a month... I find that a little hard to believe.

RP saved me a bundle as well.

If you're over 25, the bike is under 25, and it's not a SS, it's worth calling them for a quote!
