96 Cr125 or 99 Kx125?

There same price (1000) they both have typical aftermarket parts. bars and exhaust and both had top end rebuilt. Heard the 96 Cr125 was a great bike, but the Kx125 is newer and I heard is good too but doesnt have as much power. Some say the 96 has bad low end power. Idk, any help? Im not a huge brain on dirt bikes and diff models and years and all that, all though I am a mechanic.
