electrical systems and drivetrains, if you build it you should paint it as well, unless you want a wild custom paint job. Read up on painting cause painting a bike is easy.

Building engines is easy...The true art is welding and and eye for design.Go to school and get certified in MIG (gmaw) TIG (gtaw) also learn geometry. You will need to know X Y and Z axis for machining on a CNC MILL, CNC plasma or CNC waterjet.

Whatever information you can get your hands on. Mostly books, so you can read when you want, and be able to flip back and forth. Take a welding class, you will be surprised what you don't know. There's more to it than sticking two peices of metal together. You might want to learn gas welding as well. It's not used for structural work much anymore, and seems to be a fading art.As you search for information, let your mind go free. As your imagination drives you, it will also lead you.
