Headlight is dim... Halogen bulb suggestions?

Great forum, I found you all recently and have been enjoying your posts.

My wife's '97 250 Rebel has a rather dim headlight, it appears to be non-halogen. Is there a better bulb that will light up the night better???

The brand/part number of bulb would be great, thanks!

might be easier to replace the entire headlight assembly.

talk to mario at flanders in pasadena -- i found one there for my 85 250 and he ended up selling 60 or 70 to members of the old board.
