Engine
The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four-stroke, parallel twin, DOHC, 4-valve per cylinder. The engine featured a 11.0:1 compression ratio.
Drive
Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple-disc diaphragm spring.
Chassis
It came with a 110/80R19 front tire and a 150/70/17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 310mm disc, ABS/Unified Brake System in the front and a Single 282mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Upside-down telescopic fork, 43 mm inner tube, adjustable preload, compression and rebound damping, while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock, adjustable preload and rebound damping,. The XT 1200ZE/ES Super Tènèrè Worldcrosser was fitted with a 23 liters / 5.1 gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1540mm / 60.6 in long.

Yamaha XT 1200Z Super Ténéré Worldcrosser
The 2015 Yamaha Super Tenere Worldcrosser package is basically a set of goodies that would beef up and enhance the performance and appeal of the stock 2015 Super Tenere machine. For starters, the motorcycle now comes with carbon fibre side panels with aluminum mesh protector that give it a unique finish alongside carbon fork protectors that replace the standard plastic ones. A special sticker set lets everyone know about the special package that has been installed on the bike which makes the machine more capable, more durable and better in performance than that standard package. It is accompanied by tank protection pads that increase the grip while riding seated or standing.
In terms of protection from
rough and rocky terrain, the package also includes a drive shaft
shield, stronger skid plate and rear brake protector, all of
which are made out of anodised aluminum for enhanced
durability.
In addition to the above
upgrades, there can be extra options that can be availed, such
as an Akrapovic exhaust, fog lamp kits, luggage systems, engine
guards, all the way to electronically adjustable suspensions,
heated grips and a top case rack which are available with the
top-of-the-line XT1200ZE version.
The Worldcrosser package is
available with Yamaha dealers across Europe and can be installed
via the dealership or ex-works (ex-dealer) on the Super Tenere
motorcycle.
