The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

It came with a 90/80 -21 front tire and a 100/80 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 185mm disc in the front and a single 170mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock with progressive linkage.
1999 Gas Gas Pampera 200[edit | edit source]
The 1999 MY Gas Gas Pampera 200 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 199cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive. In addition, it has been fitted with laced wheels, wide handlebars, an under-seat exhaust system, analogue instrumentation dials, a Marzocchi telescopic front fork coupled to a monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear, front and rear disc brakes and a youthful, eye-catching livery.
