The BSA Bluestar 500 was a air-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by BSA in 1938. Claimed horsepower was 54.04 HP (40.3 KW) @ 4500 RPM.

The bike has a gear transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via drum in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a paralelogram fork while the rear was equipped with a hard-tail, sprung seat.

The BSA Bluestar 500 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 496cc, single cylinder powerplat mated to a three-speed manual transmission and can produce a claimed 54 horsepower at 4500 rpm. Standard fittings for this classic machine included a rear-wheel stand, a chromed, mid-mounted exhaust, a hard-tail rear suspension, a single sprung seat, a parallelogram front fork, a rear luggage rack, laced wheels, a alrge headlight, analogue instrument dials and wide handlebars.
