A Superbike class milestone model. Weighing 500 lbs, with a whopping 125 hp, the FJ provided a power-to-weight that was unequalled for bikes of this size during this time.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 74.0mm bore x 63.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1097.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis
It came with a 120/80-16 front tire and a 150/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The FJ1100 (reduced effect) was fitted with a 6.34 Gallon (24.00 Liters) fuel tank.
