The Suzuki SV650A ABS was a four-stroke, liquid cooled, 90° V-twin, DOHC, 8-valves, TSCC Naked motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 2009 and 2013.

A 81.3mm bore x 81.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 645.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6 Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/60ZR17M/C (55W), tubeless front tire and a 160/60ZR17M/C (69W), tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic discs, ABS in the front and a Single hydraulic disc, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, coil spring, oil damped, adjustable while the rear was equipped with a Link-type, adjustable spring preload. The wheelbase was 56.3 inches (1430 mm) long.

Suzuki also throws in the anti-locking brakes which add more stability when the going gets tough and emergency stops are needed. The bike also retains the sober paint schemes of the previous year models, and the black painted frame and swingarm.
2012 Suzuki SV650A ABS[edit | edit source]
The SV650A ABS is probably the benchmark for the middleweight v-twin-powered naked bikes, and the long history of the model is the perfect testimony for how loved this bike is. Frankly it;s hard not to love it, especially when looking for a sport-natured commuter and fun bike, packing the classic v-twin rumble, excellent agility in the urban jungle, flawless highway performance and all-round practicality.
The injected engine provides a crisp feel and great efficiency, while delivering both low-end grunt and high-revving passing power. And adding a luggage system also transforms the 2012 MY SV650A ABS into a great travel bike.
2013 Suzuki SV650A ABS[edit | edit source]
It looks like people are still enjoying the special vibe of a sporty v-twin naked bike, so it only made sense that Suzuki continued to manufacture the SV650A ABS. The 2013 MY retains the cool factor of the middleweight machines, being lightweight and nimble, and an excellent city slicer for fast and efficient commuting.
The model is unfortunately not available in the US, despite the fact that Canada received it.
