The Sherco 125 XY was a single cylinder, four-stroke Trial motorcycle produced by Sherco between 2002 and 2017.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 54.0mm bore x 54.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.7 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 1.60-21 front tire and a 2.10-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a aluminum 40 mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable hydraulic single damper. The 125 XY was fitted with a 0.92 Gallon (3.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 184.09 pounds (83.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.76 inches (1340 mm) long.

The XY 125cc four stroke was the first bike to come out of the Sherco assembly plants equipped with a four stroke engine.
