The Suzuki Boulevard C109R was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 2008 and 2012.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 112.0mm bore x 90.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1783.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 150/80-r16 front tire and a 240/55-r16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a link type, coil spring, oil damped. The Boulevard C109R was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 787.05 pounds (357.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 69.09 inches (1755 mm) long.
2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109RT[edit | edit source]
In the cruiser world, when the T suffix shows up, we're usually dealing with bikes which are ready to hit the road straight form the box. The 2008 MY Boulevard C109RT is no exception to the rule, and the bike is supplied with a removable windshield, leather saddlebags, and a passenger backrest.
Of course, riders have more aftermarket options, such as rear luggage racks to add even more storage capabilities to this bike, making their long hauls easier and more comfortable. On the tech side, the touring version is not different from the base Boulevard C109R model.
2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109R[edit | edit source]
The 2008 MY Boulevard C109R is the classic interpretation of the M109R beast. As the M-machine exudes modern lines, its classic counterpart introduces more retro-styled elements, such as a different set of wheels, a rounder tank, pullback bars, a huge, round classic headlight with a chrome casing, tank-mounted intruments console. deeper fenders and liberal use of chrome.
2009 Suzuki Boulevard C109R[edit | edit source]
The 2009 MY Boulevard C109R is a different breed of big-bore machine. It shares the engine with the M109R beast, but the styling is different. If anything, the M can stand for Modern, while the C is short for Classic, Still the bike retains the cast wheels, even though a design with more spokes has been used. The headlight comes with traditional looks, encased in a large chromed structure and a small bezel visor.
Ample bars reach back to the large seat and arch above the teardrop tank, while rider floorboards are also part of the game. The fenders are of course bigger and longer, adding a dash of extra retro style to the bike. In terms of power and torque, the Boulevard C109R is similar to what the M109R offers.
2009 Suzuki Boulevard C109RT[edit | edit source]
Judging by the T in the name of the 2009 MY Boulevard C109RT, it's quite easy to figure out that this bike is a touring-ready machine. The Boulevard C109RT comes with touring-focused amenities right from the crate, and they include a large, removable windscreen which adds solid weather protection to the rider, studs adorning the seats and the new passenger backrest, with a matching design for the leather saddlebags.
The bike is delivered in a two-tone paint which makes it a tad more exclusive and adds a solid head-turning factor. The engine is the same 1783 cc liquid-cooled mill which can be met in the M109R machines, too, with the same transmission and shaft drive.
2010 Suzuki Boulevard C109RT[edit | edit source]
The 2010 MY Boulevard C109R receives and extra T in its name and this introduces touring capabilities... and amenities. That is, this classic low and mean cruiser gets a sweet two-tone paint, leather saddlebags, a passenger backrest and a removable windshield. All leather is accented with shiny metal studs. Even more, the passenger benefits from full floorboards for better comfort.
The bike retains the full-blown character and can be easily transformed into an urban prowler as the touring-focused parts can be effortlessly removed for a cleaner look.
2010 Suzuki Boulevard C109R[edit | edit source]
Big-engined, massively-shaped and sporting carefully ear-tuned exhausts, the 2010 MY Boulevard C109R exudes retro looks skillfully hiding the modern technology making things move. The first thing you'll probably notice is the hardtail looks, harking back to n era that's long gone. Still, the bike has an excellent road stance, thanks to premium suspensions - beefy forks complemented by an adjustable link-type rear monoshock.
You'll be riding a strong-pulling liquid-cooled v-twin mated to a shaft drive and offering huge torque right off idle and with exhilarating passing power as the revs go up. Despite its classic attire, the Boulevard C109R comes with cast wheels and modern dual disc front brakes. There's just enough chrome on the bike to make it look good but not blingy.
