The Britten V1000 was a Water Cooled, V-Twin Quad Cam 4 Stroke. Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Britten in 1987.
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Dry.
Chassis
It came with a 120/60 -17 front tire and a 180/60 -17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 320mm Cast Iron Rotors With Opposed 4-piston Brembo Callipers in the front and a 210mm Rotor With Opposed Piston Brembo Calliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Double Wishbones With Girder while the rear was equipped with a Swing Arm With Adjustable Three Bar Linkage. The wheelbase was 55.91 inches (1420 mm) long.
1987 - 1995 Britten V1000
The Britten V1000 and Britten V1100 were the two "babies" of John Britten, a New Zealander who loved motorcycles. These were rare machines, only twelve being constructed.
