Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 54.0mm bore x 54.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.8 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the multi plate, cable operation.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi 40mm usd while the rear was equiped with a sachs adjustable shock absorber with soft damp linkage. The SM125S was fitted with a 2.51 Gallon (9.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 250.22 pounds (113.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.87 inches (1470 mm) long.

The 2010 MY Husqvarna SM 125 is the lightest and most agile supermotard in the Huskey family. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder lump paired to a six-speed manual transmission. It comes with a high-end suspension package, composed of a 41mm Paioli upside-down fork and a Paioli progressive Soft Damp rear monoshock, which ensure increased comfort and maneuverability.
