The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stoke, parallel twin, 270o crank, SOHC. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Wet, multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 150/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 310 mm Discs, 2 piston floating Nissen calipers, ABS in the front and a Single 255 mm disc, 2 piston floating Nissen caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Kayaba 41 mm forks while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba twin shocks with adjustable preload. The Bonneville T120 Diamond Edition was fitted with a 14.4 Liters / 3.8 US gal / 3.2 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 224 kg / 494 lbs. The wheelbase was 1445 mm / 56.9 in long.
