This scrambler model was designed with a good amount of the retro styling that was popular in the Japanese motorcycle industry at the time. Taking the frame and engine of the SEROW225 as its base, the fut rear fenders and other parts were made of chromed metal for a look of quality and a design similar to the rounded image of the 1968 DT-1 model. Its appeal included its easy-to-use performance and ride that on-road and off-road uses, and attractive exterior styling.
