The Yamaha XVZ12 is a touring motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1984 and 1988 and more commonly known as the Venture Royale. It could reach a top speed of 119 mph (192 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 94.94 HP (70.8 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
When Yamaha created the Venture Touring Bike, it went all the way. It was also the first liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, V-4 Yamaha and featured adjustable air suspension, luggage and stereo radio as standard equipment.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled v4, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1197.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis
It came with a 120/80-18 front tire and a 140190-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The XVZ12T was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank.
