The Honda CBR300R was a single cylinder, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Honda between 2014 and 2019. Max torque was 16.89 ft/lbs (22.9 Nm) @ 7250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 34.2 HP (25.5 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 76.0mm bore x 63.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 286.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate with coil springs.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm fork while the rear was equipped with a pro-link single shock with five positions of spring preload adjustability. The CBR300R was fitted with a 3.4 Gallon (12.87 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 54.29 inches (1379 mm) long.

For 2014, Honda’s engineers have taken it back to the drawing board, and the result is the new CBR300R. Firstly, the liquid-cooled engine is now 286cc, achieved through a longer stroke. It has also received upgrades to take full advantage of the increased power, torque and vibration that the larger capacity brings. Work has centred on the engine’s throttle response and power delivery, while a new CBR500R-style exhaust is both an aesthetic and functional upgrade.
