The Yamaha FZ-03/MT-03 was a Four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2016. Max torque was 22.13 ft/lbs (30.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 41.44 HP (30.9 KW) @ 10750 RPM.

Engine

A 68.6mm bore x 68.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 321.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-discs.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17M/C 54H front tire and a 140/70-17M/C 66H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 298 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm KYB telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a KYB single shock. The wheelbase was 54.29 inches (1379 mm) long.

2016 Yamaha FZ-03/MT-03

The Yamaha FZ-03/MT-03 marks the firm’s latest addition to the hugely popular and successful MT family. In a bid to attract newer riders and A2 licence holders Yamaha released the YZF-R3 back in 2015 and now the firm has redesigned the sportsbike and turned it into the FZ-03/MT-03.
