The Yamaha TDM 900 ABS was a Parallel twin cylinder, four stroke, liquid-cooled Naked motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 2004. Max torque was 64.91 ft/lbs (88.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 86.23 HP (64.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine
A 91.4mm bore x 91.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 867.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-discs.
Chassis
It came with a 120/70-ZR18 front tire and a 160/60-Z17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 298 mm in the front and a Single disc 2248 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm link-type. The wheelbase was 58.5 inches (1486 mm) long.
2004 - 2012 Yamaha TDM 900 ABS
Changes appeared from one end to the other, and internally. Capacity was increased 49 cc to 897 cc, enabling the company to claim without too much exaggeration that this was now a genuine 900.
