The Aprilia Scarabeo 300 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves scooter produced by Aprilia between 2009 and 2014. Max torque was 16.23 ft/lbs (22.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.96 HP (11.9 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 4 valves. A 75.0mm bore x 63.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 278.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive
The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, automcatic.
Chassis
It came with a 110/70-16 front tire and a 140/70-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc in the front and a single 240mm disc in the rear. The 2014 MY Aprilia Scarabeo 300 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 278cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce a claimed 16 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque.
It comes standard with a telescopic front fork, a single shock absorber as a rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, a 10-liter (2.6-gallon) fuel tank, front and rear disc brakes, a dual seat, passenger grab rails, a small windscreen, cast-alloy, 16", five-spoked wheels, and an under-seat storage compartment.
