The Beta 250RR was a single cylinder, 2-stroke, liquid cooled Enduro motorcycle produced by Beta in 2014.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 66.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a Michelin Enduro Competition 21 front tire and a Michelin Enduro Competition 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 260mm floating rotor in the front and a 240mm rotor in the rear. The front suspension was a 48 mm Sachs USD fork, adjustable compression and rebound, TFX technology while the rear was equipped with a aluminum Body Sachs shock w/adjustable rebound and hi/low speed compression. The wheelbase was 58.31 inches (1481 mm) long.
2014 Beta 250RR[edit | edit source]
The 2014 MY Beta 250RR carries on the excellent off-road capabilities of the 2013 model, which Dirt Rider named "Bike of the Year". Sporting a two-stroke, liquid-cooled, 249cc single cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, capable of producing great torque at low rev ranges, the lump is capable of getting one across the course without breaking a single sweat.
On the visual side, the 250RR comes in a sporty, aggressive bright red finished with racey graphics.
