The Gas Gas EC 400 FSE was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, 2 valves Enduro motorcycle produced by Gas Gas between 2002 and 2003. Max torque was 31.72 ft/lbs (43.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 46.94 HP (35.0 KW) @ 9900 RPM.
Engine
A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 399.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis
It came with a 90/90 -21 front tire and a 140/80 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single 220mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins monoshock with progressive linkage.

The 2002 MY Gas Gas EC 400 FSE has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 399cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive and can produce a claimed 47 horsepower and 43 Nm of torque.
In addition, it comes with features such as laced wheels with off-road tires mounted on them, wide handlebars, an under-seat mounted exhaust system, a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork, an Ohlins rear shock absorber with progressive linkage, front and rear disc brakes, a racey livery and a digital instrument cluster.
