The bike has a 5 Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multiple plates.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-ZR17 front tire and a 180/55-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual 300mm discs with 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 250mm disc with 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Cartridge-type fork while the rear was equipped with a UNI-TRAK gas single-shock. The ZR-X 1200 R was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.72 inches (1466 mm) long.
