The Piaggio Skipper ST125 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Piaggio in 2005. It could reach a top speed of 61 mph (98 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 8.58 HP (6.4 KW) @ 12000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 48.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the automatic dry centrifuge type.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork with ø 30 mm upside down shafts while the rear was equipped with a single-arm with hydraulic double effect damper and spring adjustable to four positions. The Skipper ST125 was fitted with a 2.48 Gallon (9.40 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 238.1 pounds (108.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 51.97 inches (1320 mm) long.
