The Sachs ZZ125 Supermoto was a single cylinder, four-stroke Supermotard motorcycle produced by Sachs between 1998 and 2014. It could reach a top speed of 65 mph (105 km/h). Max torque was 9.59 ft/lbs (13.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 10.86 HP (8.1 KW) @ 9500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 56.0mm bore x 50.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 110/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave disk in the front and a single disc. wave disk in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a single shock, adjustable. The ZZ125 Supermoto was fitted with a 2.8 Gallon (10.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 273.37 pounds (124.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.31 inches (1405 mm) long.
2013 Sachs ZZ 125[edit | edit source]
The Supermoto ZZ was for the 2013 model year completely revised. Besides a new perimeter frame got the bike fully digital instruments, stainless steel bow, diecast wheels, new plastic parts and many other new details. Both the torque and the engine power could be increased.
