The Triumph New Tiger 800 was a in-line three, four-stroke standard produced by Triumph in 2011. Max torque was 57.98 ft/lbs (78.6 Nm) @ 7850 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 91.99 HP (68.6 KW) @ 9300 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled in-line three, four-stroke. A 79.0mm bore x 61.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 799.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet. multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80-zr19 front tire and a 150/70-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a showa 43mm upside down forks. 180mm travel while the rear was equipped with a showa monoshock with hydraulically adjustable preload. 170mm rear wheel travel. The New Tiger 800 was fitted with a 5.0 Gallon (18.93 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 61.18 inches (1554 mm) long.
