It came with a D427F 130/90B16 67H front tire and a D427 180/70B16 77H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 292mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 49mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The CVO Fat Bob was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 63.58 inches (1615 mm) long.

The 2009 MY Harley Davidson FXDFSE CVO Dyna Fat Bob has, at its heart, an air-cooled, 1802cc, Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam 110 V-twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive technology, and can produce 156 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm.
It comes standard with a high performance clutch with hydraulic actuation, powder-coated and chrome cast Fang wheels with bolt-in inserts, a leather seat with Alcantara accents, a two-piece fuel tank console with chrome and color-matched finish, a premium suspension tuning, black, solid floating brake rotors, black header pipes, blunt-cut mufflers, chrome, forward-mounted controls, plus spun-aluminum, metal-faced speedometer and tachometer.

The 2010 MY Harley Davidson CVO Fat Bob FXDFSE2 is a special edition machine, that comes standard with the biggest engine, and the latest technologies developed by the House of Milwaukee. At its heart lies an air-cooled, 1803cc, Twin Cam 110 V-twin powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a Cruise Drive technology, and can produce 153 Nm of torque.
Unlike its previous embodiment, it boasts a new, Midnight Pearl plating process on the dual headlamp shell, the LED tail light cover, timer and derby covers, the horn cover and fender strut covers, a new-two piece chrome and Midnight Pearl console on top of the fuel tank, a new distressed-leather, two-piece seat, a new, chrome-and-rubber rear fender protectors, a new speedometer and tachometer with diamond black backfaces, a new, diamond black collection foot pegs, shifter peg, brake pedal pad and grips, plus a new paint scheme.
